The spring flowers around here have just about sprung their time out. Time for the summer flowers to take hold. Even as I say this, a get a strong wift of
honeysuckle. The aroma fills your naval cavities with its distinctive sweetness. The weather has been in the mid-80's -- about as springish as you are going to get here.

Pretty blossoms, and nothing smells as sweet as honeysuckle.
ReplyDeleteOh! Very pretty. Do you know if these flowers like full sun or shade? I would think about getting some of these around my house.

ReplyDeleteI do love Spring! The plant in the photo isn't honeysuckle, is it? I've always read about honeysuckle but I don't know if I've ever seen it, or at least, recognised it.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your visit to Villigen.
The flower is alestromeria and it's a favorite cut flower. Will it grow in New Orleans?

What pretty flowers - I know them as Inca Lilies. These are a particularly pretty colour; I wouldn't mind having a few in my garden. Time to visit the nursery...
