Remember the days when your excitement at things just bubbled out?Your attention span may have been short, but the attention intensity was way off the chart. Everything seemed to amaze you. Lost to your surroundings, you allow the subject-of-the-minute to capture your total attention and imagination.
This young explorer was at the lake front oblivious to all but his soap bubbles.
Hope your day produces one of those moments of intensity again.

Very cute. He looks like his attention is only on those bubbles and don't care about what else is around him. Nice facial expression.
ReplyDeleteLovely photo. I can almost feel his excitement.
ReplyDeleteA totally delightful portrait--very appealing because of his intensity and concentration. What a great picture!
ReplyDeleteWow, that is one of the most gorgeous photos imaginable! Well done.
ReplyDeleteMy mind wanders often and seems to get worse as I get older.
ReplyDeleteBut this photograph is amazing for it shows the wonder of life. The young mind is so amazing and the delight can be seen in the eyes.
Nice shot.

ReplyDeleteI'm so glad to see New Orleans on the Daily Photo family.
ReplyDeleteI went to undergraduate and graduate school in Monroe, Louisiana in the 90s and managed to visit New Orleans for Mardi Gras a couple of times. I also did some research there and stayed at a friend's house off of Charolton Street near the street car.
The food in New Orleans is indeed amazing. What I miss MOST is the wonderful ice-tea.
Terrific shot. I tried to take some pix of kids blowing bubbles last weekend but you got me beat. The look of concentration and wonder on the child's face makes the image exceptional.
