Balloon bypasser

It's Skywatch Friday. This was a few days back. A balloon came sailing by. Whimsical it was. Must be an omen of a smiley, happy day.

Check the Skywatch Friday site for a host of other photos that examine the theme "sky."

  2. No arguements from me. Classic deep blue sky and the the red blue a beautifully composed contrast.

  3. Love the peacefulness in this photo!

Years ago there was a movie called The Red Balloon. It was a foreign film (no dialogue) about a little boy and the red balloon that followed him everywhere. They used to show it to us in school and I always loved it.

Thanks for a photo that brought back a long forgotten memory.

  9. Let me try the math again, I left out a number:
440 million light years x 6 trillion miles (rounded up) per light year = 2,640,000,000,000,000,000,000 miles aways.... shesh.
