Gaze down a street in the New Orleans French Quarter and it seems as though you are looking back in time. Then let your gaze wander up and you see the office and hotel towers from the center of the city and you leap back to the 21rst Century.

That's a great perspective.
ReplyDeleteOh my I better start saving my money for a trip.... You make it so inviting..... I would love for that to be a reality.
ReplyDeleteGreat picture, Steve....
Just a beautiful shot showing the contrast of old and new.
ReplyDeleteSigh. Can't wait to go back...
ReplyDeleteNice contrast. The last time I was there I don't remember even noticing the high-rise buildings in the distance.
ReplyDeleteQuite nice. The street looks like a place I would like to stroll.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad there is such a blog as this out there. I've been searching for some New Orleans blogs and stumbled across this one. Keep up the good work. God, I miss New Orleans.
ReplyDeleteIntriguing view of old and new...
ReplyDeleteFor us New Orlean is associating with streets like this ;))
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing like it anyplace else on earth! I'm jealous of those who get to absorb it daily.
