Coot scooting


This American Coot didn't seemed to be as frightened of me as the others ducks as he non-nonchalantly passed by. Maybe in his eye I wasn't as ugly as his fellow swimmers thought. Audubon Park lagoon.

    Beautiful photo! Lots of these birds are pretty aggressive and not people shy these days.

    My sister had a seagull try to snatch a slimfast bar from her while we were on Liberty Island!
