Its looming, I'm zooming... home

I caught this image some time ago in the New Orleans suburb of Slidell. When you see something like this closing in on you, it's time to put off the grocery shopping and head home.

I remember storms like this when I was growing up in Illinois. One came rolling in while I was at the grocery store with my parents. By the time we got home, there was an uprooted tree on top of our house.

Awesome storm a brewing. Great capture, Steve. We just got down here to enjoy the Big Easy. We had some beignets and great food at the Cajan Cabin. Check us out at: http://mulligans2u.blogspot.com

Hi Steve! Sorry for the long delay in coming here, but these last weeks have been hectic; no, I’m not talking about the financial/economic crisis… ;))
Frightening picture! The heron is gorgeous and the Awesome Wonder and Sunrise are awesome!
Meanwhile Blogtrotter is now on its 200th post: «The Libyan Sea»! Hope you enjoy! Have a great weekend!
