A daily photo of the life and images of New Orleans.
It looks like it is really moving along.
No arguements from me. Classic deep blue sky and the the red blue a beautifully composed contrast.
Love the peacefulness in this photo! Years ago there was a movie called The Red Balloon. It was a foreign film (no dialogue) about a little boy and the red balloon that followed him everywhere. They used to show it to us in school and I always loved it.Thanks for a photo that brought back a long forgotten memory.
i like the way you described this and it's probable outcome. seems to fit perfectly.
I think that is a happy omen. What a nice sight to see flying by.Happy SWF.
The colours are so vivid, great photo. Dot o, I know that story, although I read the book and never saw the film. Loved it, too.
Thanks for dropping in on my "Hubble" skywatch blog...yes,"in a galaxy, far, far, away..."400,000,000 light years x 6 Trillion miles (light year2,400,000,000,000,000,000,000...eeh gads 20 zeros!!Kinda like the U.S. national debt I suppose..sheshskp:)
Hi Steve,Love this pic! As someone else has already said - the contrast is super!I also enjoyed some of your window shopping posts while I was here - nice blog.
Let me try the math again, I left out a number:440 million light years x 6 trillion miles (rounded up) per light year = 2,640,000,000,000,000,000,000 miles aways.... shesh.
I love the whimsy of this photo. Great job!
