Years ago there was a movie called The Red Balloon. It was a foreign film (no dialogue) about a little boy and the red balloon that followed him everywhere. They used to show it to us in school and I always loved it.
Thanks for a photo that brought back a long forgotten memory.
Thanks for dropping in on my "Hubble" skywatch blog...yes,"in a galaxy, far, far, away..." 400,000,000 light years x 6 Trillion miles (light year2,400,000,000,000,000,000,000...eeh gads 20 zeros!!
Kinda like the U.S. national debt I suppose..shesh
Let me try the math again, I left out a number: 440 million light years x 6 trillion miles (rounded up) per light year = 2,640,000,000,000,000,000,000 miles aways.... shesh.

It looks like it is really moving along.
No arguements from me. Classic deep blue sky and the the red blue a beautifully composed contrast.
Love the peacefulness in this photo!

The colours are so vivid, great photo. Dot o, I know that story, although I read the book and never saw the film. Loved it, too.
