Pirated space


It is only a block long. But, if bricks could talk. Pirates Alley, in the middle of the French Quarter by St.Louis Cathedral. Pirate's Alley next to the Church? New Orleans.

Wonderful shot, Steve!

The acoustics are just great there too!
Back in the day that is where they held a thriving black market, right next to da'choich!
A more subtle thing was watching the mafia guys come and go to mass through that door, always the left side in pirates alley.

Of course you know it is a haunted alley, as there lay many souls buried beneath those flagstones and in the garden behind the Cathedral.
