As the light fades and the sun kisses the just the high spots, the revelers wander through the New Orleans French Quarter on rain-dabbed coblestones. They seem unaware of the street musican under the trees, trying to rake in some bread.

I love the phrase "raking in some bread"..... Street Musician are a special but usually poor breed!!

A few less people than when I was there for Mardi Gras.
Steve, great photo....I love the setting so familiar to me...my old apartment was just a block away on Chartres near this spot.
Ah, such sweet memories of years past in the Quarter.
