Ready for Shrike strike
Looking for prey, this Loggerhead Shrike (Lanius Iudovicianus) sits atop a tree where I was waiting for my wife a couple weeks ago. According to the Birds of America book, the 9 inch birds love to impail their prey. --steve buser
