A blazing blades

Another shot from waiting on the sunset the other day. Looks like I shot it with a flash, but this is just ambient light. The sun was going low but shooting its last rays deep through the leaves. The green leaves we call monkey grass, don't know what the other are called.

I am not sure among the grass but the flower part or the red part reminds me, "reminds me," of a bird of paradise plant.

I hope you get to see the last photos in the robin series.

lovely colors and lighting.....even i was reminded of bird of paradise flower ..but it certainly is not hat.....

I'm stumped. I was going to say it sort of resembled a bromeliad, but I've got a brown thumb. Anyway, it's a nice shot...
