The terrestrial -bound duo seem to be in awe of an
egret. This is at the
Audubon Park rookery which can keep a photographer occupied for hours. The rookery is an island in the Audubon Park lagoon which circles around the park. Stay still for long enough and the ducks, geese and squirels will come right up to you.

Oh my. I would be in Heaven there taking pictures of turtles and herons and things that go bump in the night. A very fine photograph. You should at least try for a close-up of a turtle.
