This is the saxophone player in Irma Thomas' band at the concert this weekend. His hat has definitely sprung a sun leak. Kind of let's you know how hot it was. Most of the crowd was under the trees, but Irma and The Professionals definitely got toasted.

Even with a hat, the heat from the sun had to feel oppressive after a while. But after all of the rain we've had for the past few days, I'm looking forward to a sun leak!
You have a good eye for photos!
This is a delightful and artful photo! There are so many details that make it great!
That is one super photo. It is the spots of sun and the way you cropped the photo that makes it unique. I think. I like it.
me likes the sun 2..
The lighting on this photo is very nice- I like this one. I've visited New Orleans a few times in spring and summer... always HOT.
Thank you for visiting my blog and for your kind words about my Gracie. I've taken your advice and made the image smaller - hope it will be able to be seen now.
Wow, methinks coincidence will never cease to amaze me. I found abraham lincoln by accident; he lives in the same town I do. I found you through a comment on his blog; I'm originally from Venice in Plaquemines Parish! It's truely a small world,,,love your photos, makes me reaaallly homesick!
Neat portrait, you can even see people in his sunglasses!
