The Quarter Funnels

Just having fun today with a French Quarter scene in New Orleans. The balconies, the hanging baskets, the horse drawn carriages, the waving flags -- all icons funneling off into the distance

I hope you meant the title as a pun.

The picture looks like it has had some work in Photoshop or other software. It's particularly effective here. The viewer sees The Quarter in the hallucinatory way that many of us do as tourists. How did you work uo the image?

I do like that surreal pastel effect.

Ah, the French Quarter as I remember it so many, many years ago.

Everything I imagine the French Quarter to be - but it looks as if it's taken underwater. Something clever you've been doing, post-photograhy.

I love your city and this picture is why! And I like the "artsy" work you did on it!

Is this photoshopped? I like the purple-y color of the sky. Very nice!
