Memory-filled and faded books (Theme Day)

The Theme for November 1 is "Books" This photo is a collection of our old photo albums laid out under a window. These memory filled pages have yellow with time and the colors of photos have morphed into that yellow-ish pale that over takes them with time. Hopefully we have fared better than our memories.

A good choice for theme day. I got most of our albums out and began scanning photos to make as many digital as I can.

I forgot about theme day today so I just found some of the books I wrote and took a photo and published that. Too late to be included in the group but it worked for me. LOL

I didn't think of photobooks, but these are, indeed, some of the best sorts of books there are!

Good interpretation, Steve.

fyi if any of those photo albums are the "magnetic" variety . . . get the photos out of them asap . . . those albums will harm your photos quickly.

Cool post, Steve. It makes me want to converting my old albums to digital ASAP to preserve them. It is a treat for me to sneak back online disobeying my doctor's orders to stay offline to avoid eyestrain to post a few things and then to pop over to catch up on your very interesting blog. I have really missed visiting while I have been off on medical leave. Jon at Mississippi Garden on 11-1-08

Great idea for theme day! Nice picture!

Glad you liked African wildlife shots. There are more on my travel blog now (and still more if you check Kenya or Tanzania on labels).
