Curved care
Another peak at some of the work at the recent Canstruction contest at the Shoppes at Canal Street. Here, three workers exert painstaking care to get the curves right. The Canstructions were all designed from food containers. The AIA sponsored event was to raise food donations for the food bank.
Lagniappe (a little something extra)
Get your body ready to spin, tumble, fall, and swoop in the hands of mechanical monsters -- it's just that time of the year.

Very interesting post today. I like the curve they are putting together.
Oh, I only now get the word play. I thought it was a mispelling.:)Very dynamic photograph of motion.
that's a sinuous curve.....am glad to see they got it this right!!! and of course the cause is worth appreciation too :)
An excellent way to have a food drive. I like how they have curved the cans.
Great angle, STeve! I would love to see the finished project. We've had something similar at one of the malls in Nashville, and I'm amazed at what these guys do.
BTW. . .I also like the lagniappe today!
And did you have to bring a can as entry fee?
This exhibition is so much fun! I missed it this year. So I am glad to see the N.O. version here!
