Creeping critter

One of the little critters in Audubon Park that will come close, but not to near to you. They're looking to see if you have any food to throw out. They are amazingly cautious. The New Orleans Park lies next to the Mississippi River and is also home to the zoo.

Cute little guy. I've seen the back yard where we are moving, and we will have these little critters!

What wonderful photos you have here including this little fellow.

This is my first visit to your blog and I am glad I came here too. :)

I wish we had them in France. We just have a few brown squirrels, which are not so "familiar" as yours.

Nice shot, Steve. You need to carry a few peanuts in your pocket. Unsalted.

We've got English oaks in the garden, so its squirrel megalopolis. I watch them chasing each other all day.

The grey variety have ousted the native red squirrel, sadly. Couldn't believe my eyes in Toronto when I saw black squirrels playing on a lawn.
Made me wonder what other colours they come in!!
