Foggy ferry
The Algiers ferry glides into the Canal Boulevard ferry landing through the shroud of fog. Cool mornings always make the Mississippi River in New Orleans a fun place to shot photos.
You're most welcome, Steve. And I really like this photo--for some reason it makes me think of "The African Queen." Do you know if that was that the actual boat from the movie at the Louisiana World's Fair? Well, to tell you the truth, it matters not because I got a kick out of seeing it anyway.
Curious effects and a vehicular ferry gets the imagination. Those tall birds in photo have moved into sydney, perhaps the drought is blamed for the move, they have adapted well to enjoy take-away trash etc!

I think that is the most romantic photo ~~~(((sigh)))
Very nice!
What a marvellous photo. Ghostly steamer, if it wasn't for the glow of light!
This does look rather haunting. Lovely though.
it so reminds me of the mist that hung around Puget Sound in Seattle! beautiful image!
