Top of the day, top of the sky

What is the odds that the skies will be this clear for the St. Patricks's Day parade down St. Charles Avenue in New Orleans this weekend. This shot was from a beautiful, festive day a couple years ago. Blue skies, gentle winds, short sleeve weather, and all the cabbage and potatoes you could think of eating. How much better can it get.

Hope you enjoy this SkyWatch Friday photo. Go to the SkyWatch Friday site to enjoy 100's more.

It does look beautiful as only New Orleans can and that's a great shot! Our skies in Seattle are blue today, but it is Cold! Thanks for sharing a great shot!

Love the photo - it gives us a glimpse of real life, which I love and just now realize I also, should try to capture - thanks for sharing.

Great photo. Would love to see a St. P parade some time. We don't have one here.
And, like in Seattle, the skies are blue here, but it's c-o-l-d.

Love that shot from beneath the float. Y'all sure do love parades in The Big Easy!

This is one of my favourite times of the year, St patty's day is usually a huge celebration in my hometown, and great pic by the way.

Cheers

Another great picture! Nice link to Mount Rainier, too. Today was crystal clear and the mountain was -- as we say here -- out.
