Clouds line up to be part of Ike

As we were flying out of New Orleans last week to head to Washington to watch our son's triathlon, these were the clouds out the window of the play. These were the last bands of clouds swirling into Hurricane Ike as it was passing over Houston. I guess we must have been over the middle of Mississippi when I shot this.

Hi Steve,
I love that shot...clouds are really beautiful. I will show this to my grandson...we will be flying to Orlando next month...it will be his first flight that he will remember!

Wow, that's impressive! From the CDP portal, it looks like the ocean. I thought you took the photo from a boat and this was the wake!

Beautiful clouds! They made me remind of some pics of Austria I have on my travel blog.

The clouds look so innocent. Even though, they're about to meet up with a bad apple.

I love those puffy cottonball clouds. What a wonderful photo! I hope the flight attendant didn't yell at you. :)

Great shot, Steve. I am glad it missed 'Nawlins, but I am sorry for all the problems other places. Only 15 days till we're down there so no more hurricanes.
