River race?

Almost looks like a race a a tug boat pushes his tow just in front on of the paddle wheel boats that ply the Mississippi River. The paddle boats offer tours down the river from the docks at the foot of Canal Street -- while its a favorite draw for the tourist, I think a lot of New Orleanians like to make it a Saturday or Sunday outing, too.

My ambition is to at least get on the Delta Queen once before I die. This is a nice shot and reinforces my dream.

The Natchez! Does it still have its calliope?

Does it EVER have a calliope. My office is in a hi-rise building about 3 blocks from its dock. When it comes by or gets ready to depart, the calliope starts up so loud I can hear it in the parking garage up on the 10th floor. Good marketing gimic, eh?

We are having a heat days now. Yesterday we looked for some water outside the city and of course everywhere was too crowded. We're late. So you are so lucky man.

I promised to post photo from Japanese Garden today, but I promise you post some sunset on Saturday. Especially for you ;))).
Maybe not so incredible like your phooto but I'll find some.

Many years ago I worked on both the Delta Queen and Mississippi Queen. I came to your site thinking I might see some familiar sites. And I have. Thanks
