Bursting with excitement

Remember the days when your excitement at things just bubbled out?

Your attention span may have been short, but the attention intensity was way off the chart. Everything seemed to amaze you. Lost to your surroundings, you allow the subject-of-the-minute to capture your total attention and imagination.

This young explorer was at the lake front oblivious to all but his soap bubbles.

Hope your day produces one of those moments of intensity again.

Very cute. He looks like his attention is only on those bubbles and don't care about what else is around him. Nice facial expression.

My mind wanders often and seems to get worse as I get older.

But this photograph is amazing for it shows the wonder of life. The young mind is so amazing and the delight can be seen in the eyes.

Nice shot.

I have 1 baby raccoon today and a pile of poop!

Very cute little guy. Definitely enthralled with the bubbles.

As for spending too much time looking out the office window, I won’t tell anyone but your excellent photos might give you away.

I'm so glad to see New Orleans on the Daily Photo family.

I went to undergraduate and graduate school in Monroe, Louisiana in the 90s and managed to visit New Orleans for Mardi Gras a couple of times. I also did some research there and stayed at a friend's house off of Charolton Street near the street car.

The food in New Orleans is indeed amazing. What I miss MOST is the wonderful ice-tea.

Terrific shot. I tried to take some pix of kids blowing bubbles last weekend but you got me beat. The look of concentration and wonder on the child's face makes the image exceptional.

Congratulations on 2000 visitors and passing the two-month mark!

This is a really lovely photo. It reminds me of the times I could keep kids entertained for hours with a large container of soap bubbles.
