I was at the Audubon Park Zoo, when I caught this strange fellow. He flew under the carousel while it was stopped. Soon it was filled with kids and the calliope. It started moving, the animals started going up and down.He remained motionless. Enjoying the ride.
Clearly this was not his first carousel.
Amazing that it didn't frighten him out of his wits.

I might be wrong but the bird looks like what we commonly call a ring-neck pigeon.
