Bayou Boogie

The sun is setting. Not much time left. One last fishing spot to check out before boogeying back home. Bayou Lacombe sparkles in the dimming light of dusk. Maybe it will be hypnotic for the fish that have been eluding you all day.

When I saw this in the portal I thought it was snow! then realised it couldn't be. A beautiful photograph, Steve. Love the way you caught the beauty of the light on the water.

Wonderful photo! I've so enjoyed scrolling through your blog. We are in Memphis, and used to visit NOLA at least 4X a year. DH no longer has business there, but we are looking forward to visiting again soon. Seeing Jax made us homesick from our "home away from home."

I look forward to visiting often!
