Fleet, firmly focused,

The muscle strain. The day grows long, the focus harder. The way narrows.

What do bicycle riders want? A long narrow, scenic strip away from traffic. The Mississippi River levees seem made to order. This bike and walking path runs from uptown New Orleans several miles up river. It's a favorite exercise place any day of the week. There's a proposal to extend it all the way to Baton Rouge. Talk about exercise!

I love how you have the focus of your photo on the rider.

Great photo. I feel like i'm the cyclist behind and trying to focus all my energy on catching the rider in front of me!!

Sounds like a good plan....but I hope it leaves space for the "non-power" more easy going riders.

I love what youve done with this photo! All eyes on the rider, or rather everything else is a blur to the rider except his concentration on the trail ahead! Wonderful!

Very clever effect - yes it certainly focusses our vsion on the rider!!!

It appears from visits to other blogs in the States as well, that you are all experiencing a very hot summer - I think this guy might end up with heat stroke if he isn't careful especially in that lycra suit. Up here we use those to dive in!!!!
