Sunday slowdown

A shots I took from a cruise ship last year as we coasted into New Orleans early on a Sunday morning. One week of fun. One tired Sunday. This was supposed to be a series of images in a gif. Worked fine on my computer but apparently blogspot doesn't support animated gifs.

Nice shot of the city coming back to port.

This is a better view of the Mississippi than the current one in Minneapolis-St. Paul. I wish our little twin towns would have more serenity now. I like the city shot very much.

Nice shot of your homecoming. It is both good and bad to come home after a nice vacation, isn't it?

Nice photo of the cruise ship and your city. Liked your comment about rock climbing.

Glad to see the floating casinos are still there.

Hope New Orleans is back to her glory self.

...now compare this with a view of "the Creek" in Dubai. Sorry about the lack of movement. That would have been good to see. How about Utube clips...I think they work. (though no personal experience...I prefer to stay simple)

PS What you could do is upload the gif file to another server and post a link to it in the blog. Should work. If you server space, send me the file... I'll ftp it to my site and you can link to it here.
